Dear Friends of SHH,
We
hope that you are still keeping warm as these winter months come to an
end. Just like the Steelers, the SHH team has had a great season
this winter. Despite the cold weather, we have managed to stay warm and
as busy as ever with lots of fun events and activities for all of our
members. As we wrap up all the excitement that the winter months have
brought, we also look ahead and are planning for a successful and
enjoyable spring.

Check out our new
Wayfinder Signs!
Sarah Heinz House is now easier to find! We have 4 signs encircling our building with
clearly marked directional arrows.
Thanks to Pittsburgh City Councilperson Darlene Harris for donating the
funds for these signs; her support of Sarah Heinz House is very much
appreciated.

Swimming and Spaghetti
Come join SHH
friends and families for a fun night of
swimming, games, a Chinese auction, and a big bowl of spaghetti. The
event is a fundraiser for our aquatics programs and will take place at
SHH
on 3/1/2009 and costs $7 for adults and $5 for children.

Campaign For Others
Sarah
Heinz House members continue to learn the importance of giving and
service through our traditional Campaign for Others month in
February. This year the members will raise money by doing
karate kicks, lap swims and other fun things to help other kids.
The beneficiary this year is the Cincinnati Shriners Burn Unit (which
provides free care to all children under 18).
